Here at ISM we have 6 dispositions, or character traits, that we believe help our students become well-rounded individuals. These are: caring, responsible, ethical & fair, creative, balanced, and self-directed. We believe that if a student can exemplify these dispositions, they will have a positive and successful learning experience at school, and later on, in life.
In our classroom this week, we had a discussion about what these dispositions mean to us as Grade 3 students. The students decided they wanted to create posters about each of the dispositions that would help others understand what they are, by including a self-made definition, examples of what they look like, and a picture.
Here are some pictures of the students in action, creating their posters. They have not yet decided what they want to do with their posters and how they want to share their information. But we will keep you updated as we come to a decision next week!
