You Understand when you Explain!

One way of knowing if you really understand a concept or idea is if you can successfully explain it to somebody else. For the past few weeks, we have been working on understanding area and perimeter. Though we have demonstrated our understanding in a number of ways, this video from two of our students is one of the best examples I've seen so far of their understanding of these concepts. 

Other students chose to create posters to explain area and perimeter, including examples and explanations.
